Abstract. The Diophantine equation F^k₁ + F^k₂ + … + F^k_n-1 = F^l_n+1 + F^l_n+2 + … + ^l_n+rin positive integers n, r, k, l with n >= 2 is studied where F_n is the n^th term of the Fibonacci sequence.
